Attorney Leonard B. Bren grew up on Long Island.  He received his Bachelor's Degree, with honors, from the University of Rochester in New York, and in 1974 received his Juris Doctorate degree from the National Law Center, George Washington University, in Washington, D.C.  He practiced with the Office of the Corporation Counsel in Washington, first as a prosecutor and then in the civil division.  Lenny then went into private practice as a litigator for Ashcraft & Gerel, a large D.C. plaintiff's personal injury firm.  He moved to the firm's new office in Hartford, Connecticut in 1987, where he continued to litigate matters including medical malpractice, vehicular negligence and construction accidents on behalf of those who were injured.  Lenny was one of the plaintiff's attorneys on the Steering Committee of the L'Ambiance Plaza building collapse litigation.  He opened his own practice in West Hartford in 1992.  Lenny joined Glass, Lebovitz in 1999, and became a principal in the firm in April 2000. Lenny is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in Connecticut and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the state and local bar associations. He is a member of the Connecticut and D.C. Trial Lawyer's Associations, as well as the American Trial Lawyer's Association.  Lenny is a graduate of the first regional National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
