Employees who are injured on the job or want to report unsafe working conditions should be able to do so without fear. Yet a recent OSHA decision in Connecticut shows that so called “whistleblowers” are still being punished by employers for doing just that. A Meriden, Conn. man was suspended for 30 days after he complained to OSHA that he was retaliated against after suffering from an on the job injury.

Dogs Death in CT: Justified or Worthy of Criminal Charges?

The story of a dog, killed by its newly adoptive owner's boyfriend, has been getting a lot of press in and around Middlefield, Conn. Though many have pushed for a criminal investigation into the death, others, including police, point out that the couple attempted to have the dog removed from the home after it bit its owner twice.
